Mises Institute at the 2017 Free Market Medical Association Conference

The Free Market Medical Association hosts its annual conference this year from August 17th-19th at the historic Skirvin Hilton in Oklahoma City, and the Mises Institute will be there.

Our president Jeff Deist was the keynote speaker last year, and this year it's our great friend and Senior Fellow Dr. Yuri Maltsev. Professor Maltsev undoubtedly will share recollections of his childhood experiences with "free" medical care in the former Soviet Union. And our own James Dunavant will host a Mises Institute booth with plenty of free books and information.

Dr. Keith Smith, the founder of FMMA, is the heroic physician who developed the cash-only Surgery Center of Oklahoma. He's also a dedicated libertarian and strong supporter of the Mises Institute.
